If you want to get a feel for how we can help, here are some of the projects we have worked on recently:
Hull and East Riding Timebank
Hull Timebank contacted us for help updating their computer systems. With our expert assistance they obtained some refurbished laptops and a PC, fully installed with Windows 10 Pro and Office 365, and secured with antivirus software. We also recommissioned an ageing PC as a file server to make their lives easier.
We are now providing a remote support service using our state of the art remote access software, and they get regular visits to help with anything that can’t be done remotely.
Hull College UCU
The University and College Union (UCU) branch at Hull College needed a new website after the existing one became unavailable due to staff changes (no-one had shared details of the domain registration and it had timed out). This was a complete rebuild, and they needed something that looked professional but was easy for branch officers to update and maintain. We registered them a new domain name (ucuhull.org.uk) and built them a WordPress powered site that has everything they need. We even provided training for them on how to use the site!
Beverley and Holderness Labour Party
The Beverley and Holderness Constituency Labour Party desperately needed to update their website, as their existing one was looking a bit long it the tooth and was difficult to keep up to date. This was becoming more urgent with the tumultuous political events that seem to be a part of daily life in the UK! Their domain name was long and unwieldy, so the first thing we did was to register them a more snappy URL (bevholdlabour.org.uk), and then we used a WordPress template provided by the Labour party to give them a clean, modern and most importantly, user friendly website.
East Riding NEU
The National Education Union (NEU) in the East Riding district also needed a new website after the creation of the new union from the merger of the NUT and ATL. This was again a complete rebuild, and they also needed something that looked professional but was easy for district officers to update and maintain. We registered them a new domain name (eastridingneu.org.uk) and built them a WordPress powered site that has everything they need. Full training was provided to the district officials, and they now have a clean, easy to use and functional website
